The shape of the company
Apex Digital Group is a technology company in Chattanooga, Tennessee with two lines of work. We build custom web applications, and we run the day-to-day IT that small businesses depend on.
Almost nobody does both. Software shops deliver a finished application and move on, leaving you to find someone else to host it, patch it and fix it at 7am. IT providers keep the lights on but cannot change the software when the business changes — so the process bends around the tool instead of the other way round.
Doing both means the people who wrote your system are the same people who maintain the server it runs on. There is no vendor to escalate to, and no argument about whose fault it is.
How decisions get made
We are not a catalogue. We choose the tools we are willing to run ourselves and stand behind when they misbehave at seven in the morning, and we will always tell you what we use and why.

Chattanooga, Tennessee and the surrounding areas. Hands-on IT support means being close enough to turn up, so we keep our coverage to where we can actually do that.
